Time here to give credit to our 10 year old diesel Citroën, which effortlessly covered 2,790 miles (4,490 km) without missing a beat, in comfort, coolness (thanks to the recently recharged digital air conditioning) and reasonable economy — 43 mpg. Its current value according to Parkers Price Guide is £1,000.

Buy one. It’s well worth it.
